UND at 48 weeks
« on: February 02, 2012, 11:31:04 AM »
I completed Tx on 1/19/2012, I had to endure 48 weeks vs. 26 weeks.  My VL was so high at baseline the trial parameters required I go through 48 weeks of Tx.  Anywho, I’m UND at 48 weeks!!!   I have visits for blood work to verify UND at weeks 52, 60, & the big one 72 weeks.

I’m feeling like my old self again; my brain and speech again connect at light speed.  I have buckets of energy and I feel good.

I would like to especially thank the forum veterans for their encouragement, advice, and sympathy including; Banarep, Greyrocker, Cali, Sweetsue, Alice, ScaredyCat, & Hepper Joe.  I know there is also other forum member that helped me and I thank you as well.  If you are impacted by this disease this is a special place to find solace.

Thank you.  That's what I need to hear.  Hgb just fell to 9.4 and I am in the pit again wondering if this is worth it.  Procrit not an option.  Riba already reduced.

Hearing someone made it through really helps.

I really underestimated how hard this would be.  I was so much younger the first two times.

Sounds like you made a very quick recovery, that is quicker than I did last time. 20 more weeks to go but it feels like years yet. Congrats

Yikes! Did 24 wk clinical trial with Lambda Interferon. UND at week 12 & 24. Relapsed after one month. No VL test at weeks 4 & 8. I would get myself tested at week 4 and 8 next time I treat if the doc doesn't order it.

HIP HIP HOORAY!!!

Thanks for the mention Scooter, but you alone fought this battle! (with just a little encouragement from your friends)

So glad you're feeling like your old self again!  Congratulations!
