the future
« on: January 31, 2012, 03:04:46 PM »
As a failed 3x treatment (due to severe sides) I have been offered phase 3 noninterferon tx when my clinic opens this phase.  Debating about giving up on tx... wonder about prediction of progression of disease?  I am stage 3 w/sig inflammation, got hep c 35 years ago from blood transfusion.  It has been daunting to think about re-treating and am leaning towards not treating again...  Ever heard of someone at this stage after 35 years not progressing further?  What is my "foolish factor"?

foolish factor is fairly high here. the non-interferon based therapies seem to have very few side effects and a very high rate of success (85+%). keep holding out
