Hi Everybody,

Sorry to keep you all in suspense. My surgery went as planned, the doctor said they got everything and on 3/1 I have another MRI. I'm feeling back to my old self but it took awhile for all the drugs to get out of my system. All I did was sleep for days. They went into my liver with needles to ablate the cancer.
My side looks like I have been bitten by a vampire or maybe it was the dragon himself.   :dragon:

Wednesday they are presenting me to the transplant team to get approval for me to be on the list. It should all go fine if my coordinator doesn't screw anything up. I seem to know more about my case and what the doctors are talking about than she does. Will let you know when I have been approved for the transplant list.

Today starts week 18 and I am still undetected.    Last test was done on 1/25.

Hope all is going well with everyone!

Marijean

Thank you everyone for all your thoughts and kind words.  I especially liked it when greyrocker called me a warrior princess.  Thanks greyrocker!   :)

I'm going to see my treatment doctor today for a checkup. She will also check to see how my surgery is healing. The hardest part of my healing was where they pull the tape off and ripped my skin, that was so sore.  I also want to talk  to my doctor about how to go about finding a new transplant coordinator. The woman I have is nice enough but I don't have any confidence in her. Today she is presenting me to the transplant team to get me on the list. I just have this feeling she is going to screw it up by not having everything she needs to present my case. I have to have someone I can trust with something this important.  :uncertain:

I will let you know if I hear anything about getting on the transplant list.

MariJean,

You are so right that you have to have confidence in your doctor/nurse/provider team.  You're smart and strong and I continue to wish you all the best.

Pete
