Still undetected!!
« on: January 18, 2012, 07:28:50 AM »
Hi Everybody,

Just started my 15th week of treatment, it is so much easier without the telepriver.  Got the results yesterday for my viral load and I was once again UNDETECTED.     Go for my transplant evaluation next week, and on Feb 1st I have my cancer removed by microwave ablation. I am sick of waiting, lets get the show on the road!!!

One hurdle down and one to go, feels good to be half way there!!!  One thing for sure, we are all strong people for enduring this challenge along with "regular" other life stuff.  Good job!!!

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick up date of whats going on. I had my liver transplant evaluation on Wednesday. We were at the hospital for at least 9 hours. It seems like we talked with everyone there, but everthing went very well. They needed me to do a few more tests, 2 yesterday and 1 today.

I have my ablation of the liver cancer next week Wednesday and after that they will be able to present me to the transplant evaluation team (which meets every Wednesday) to request that I be put on the list. Unless something weird comes up I shouldn't have any problems making the list. Then I wait for a liver which could take 3 to 6 months. I'm going to stay on treatment until I can get a new liver unless the virus shows up again, then they would stop treatment but the transplant would still be a go.
