Personal treatment countdown clock?

The idea of developing a "Treatment Countdown Clock" Mod for our forum has been something we have considered for quite awhile now. Now that we have host provider who offers custom SMF mod development, we are able to have such a Mod developed and implemented on our forum. Here's how the Mod would function and appear:

Each registered member would have the ability to activate their personal treatment countdown clock (turn on or off) within their personal profile settings page by checking the appropriate box to do so. Below the activation check box would be two boxes to providing the start and end dates of treatment. There will also be a check box for allowing the countdown clock to be displayed in posts and replies above your signature in addition to appearing on your profile page. The treatment countdown clock will also appear as a column in our site's members list.

The treatment countdown clock will be programmed to countdown and display how many weeks, days and hours you has left on treatment and appear something like this:

I have 21 weeks, 4 days and 2 hours left on treatment.

When the countdown clock has completed it's countdown it will display: "Stick a fork in me.... I'M DONE!" - (followed by date completed)

We will also be looking into the ability of having the Mod also place an automatic event notification to display in our forum's Calendar and be listed in our central forum's "Info Center" section under Upcoming calendar Events as each member's treatment countdown clock has completed it's countdown.

Please let us know what you think about us developing such a Mod for our forum. If we have a good enough interest by our members in having the Mod developed and implemented we will proceed in working with our site's technical support team on developing and implementing it for us. Not aware of any issue with the log drop calculator. Checked it operation and all appears to works fine. What issue are you having with it?

Yes we did, however it wasn't integrated with the forum as a settable function via profile page settings. I had to personally create individual JavaScript files upon member request and add them to a page we had which listed each persons countdown clock. Was a lot of work. Having it as a function option within profiles allows members to simply add start and end dates, check a box to activate and wallah! Having the option to have it automatically appear above signatures allows members to view each person's time remaining on treatment within the posting and replies they make within the boards without having to view their profile page directly for it.
