CheyenneWarrior...
I don't exactly understand. Why does your lawyer want you to see another doctor before the hearing? Has it been awhile since you've seen a doctor?

I had my hearing last Nov. They had my medical records but the judge still decided he wanted more info so SS is sending me to to a doctor for free. Does your atty think this could happen for you? (personally, I think the whole process is pretty danged screwed up but I guess I'm not clear why the lawyer wants you to get another doc appt again.  :upset: )

hope it works out. sorry i couldn't be more help.

Since I had relapsed from 48 weeks of treatment and at that time they told me then that until new medication came
out, there was nothing more that they could do for me. Therefore, I have not been back to a doctor since September
of '09.
I believe my attorney is just trying to head them off at the pass, so they will not want me to go to another doctor.
He said we had a good case, but some recent labs and a recent doctor's visit would shore it up quit a bit.
