The key word you said is "temporary" and that sounds like a good idea.  You don't want to be cutting out something that is so important to you, but give yourself a break and focus on what your body & mind need for now.  You're in a fight for your life...give it every ounce of your attention and get through it, whatever it takes.

We're all here for you 3time...take what you need.

Regarding ADs: I was having a serious problem with depression before starting treatment, so before I did something really crazy I sought help. The first attempts with SSRIs were scary and more depressing. Of course, popular belief is that often depression is caused by a chemical imbalance. It took many attempts for the shrink and me to hit the right combination, but we did ( buproprion, lexapro, and trazodone ) as trazodone was not reccomended with Incivek, and as I was primarily taking it for sleep, it is replaced with Ambien for now. I am amazed at the difference in my attitude and outlook. Life is actually fun again, and my wife really likes the change, too. The poisons for Hep cause a chemical imbalance, and other chemicals, drugs are not to be discounted as a solution. I have not had a problem mentally getting through this treatment, and my shrink says post treatment therapy from a psychologist may mean the meds can be discontinued at some point. Although I hate putting all these things in my system, the alternatives were looking like loss of job, marriage, home, life. To be as happy and positive as my wife is naturally is literally like a new brighter world. Like my HepC treatment, I share this readily in the hope that maybe one person needing help will seek it.   Kirk

Good to hear. I didn't like the ADs either... i'm taking minimal dosage (0.25) Xanax as needed for panic/anxiety and continuing the march!  Please stay in touch, we all tend to lean on each other a bit which I think helps a lot.

Hugs,
gabe
