food for thought

   Hey wanted to let everyone know from my experience while on tx my antidepressant paxil gave me a good appetite. I gained weight instead of lossing which was good for me because im small. I was afraid of not being able to eat before taking my meds. Just some food for thought ha ha :lol:
started treatment 9/23/2009 ended 9/23/2010 waiting for svr. should know in may.My viral load was 3ml undected at 12 wks.

Good for you ! I took that back in the 90's. Gained 35 lbs over 8 months. I did NOT want the weight :ahhh: It is definitely a good one for those who need to add the appetite & pounds ! I've been on prozac. No change in either. Since start of Tx, I lost 10 lbs.  Mostly stress in the beginning. Now at 142, I would like to drop 10 more and was looking forward to weight loss. Unfortunately, my appetite has improved & weight is stable. I am so backwards from the 'norm' :lol:
I'm glad you've gained. Doctors should know this and prescribe for everyone during Tx who needs to gain.
