This is a very interesting thread.  I have several acquaintances that go to the doc and get B shots and they feel great (non-hep c peeps).

I was considering it - just to try to stay healthy until ducks (or was that stars, same thing, right?  ) line up for more tx.  Only fat-soluble vits are A,D,E & K.  All the rest are water soluble.  With all the water going on -it does seem like you would lose the extra B but it is a good question I'd like to see if Shalice got an answer to.

Wow doug-
that is expensive!
You guys are great, and, an inspiration to boot!

Yikes! Did 24 wk clinical trial with Lambda Interferon. UND at week 12 & 24. Relapsed after one month. No VL test at weeks 4 & 8. I would get myself tested at week 4 and 8 next time I treat if the doc doesn't order it.

SC,

It is, and it isn't expensive.  You go to a doctor you are looking around $25+ per shot of 1000mcg.  It cost me $5 per shot for 2000mcg.  Plus, as an example, got flu shot IM and with my platelet count it bruised nicely and several days later my arm is still sore.  This is true of all IM shots.  SQ even if it bruises a bit doesn't hurt and that to my old sore wore out rear end is worth it.

I remember many years back doing b shots into my inner thighs 3 x week. After a month, I was flying. I do remember getting bruised. I gonna give this some attention this week and talk to hematologist tomorrow too.
