Your ex-husband (the Deadbeat Dad) sees you for the first time after 4 months
post tx and actually says (for the first time in like
forever)...you look great!  Like it's the first time he's ever seen ME...

27 years with him but I have to say it...His words stopped me in my tracks!

What is it they say...Looking good is the best revenge'?  I can't believe I am slowly
resurfacing from the darkness of tx.  I thought I would never look like myself
again!

It feels good to be back (almost!).  6 Month test in January continues to loom
though....

Jeez. My ex husband from 28 years ago found me on facebook and was questioning my son about my romantic status etc. Then starts asking me to lunch/dinner. Like I'm going to regress back. Hello honey, there's a reason I left you and I haven't forgotten.

Glad to hear you are feeling better.  That is a great feeling  when the ex says something like that.  I keep hearing there is a light at the end of the tunnel... maybe someone needs to change a lightbulb so I can see it!   :wink:

OH no not a dating service  :ahhh: My girlfriend signed me up in the middle 1990's on the phone  We turned it into a joke one week I was the librarian next week the cowgirl. We would wait a week check the messages put it on speaker phone and laugh our butts off. :lol: :lol: :whistling:

I am such a WUSS that everytime I venture into one of those STUPID dating sites the second someone asks to meet me, I'm OUTTA THERE, never to be heard from again! Nevermind the Personal Ads...with my luck I would end up with the 'serial' killer (lol).

I guess I'm just destined to be alone (boo hoo) because if someone doesn't fall
into my lap, forget about it!

You don't know the juicy story? Let me tell you. Viper and DJ met on a support group site in a chat room. After some time they began talking on the phone and Viper gets DJ to move to the Cape. I think she was on tx at the time so Viper took care of her. Then he went on tx and she took care of him. Few years later they got married.
...and they lived happily ever after.

Is that a great fairy tale story.  :)
