BR I was a wuss and ran to the doc right away for an anti-emetic after the vomiting kicked in 45 min after a dose. I was afraid I wouldn't keep the next dose down long enough. I've been on the zofran since then and it keeps from coming up, but I still get really nauseous in the morning, to the point where I feel like if I eat that much it will be counter productive, if you know what I mean  :embarrassed: Just have to fine tune my routine a bit.

Oh dear. Oh no! OMG! Oh GOD!!! I get it now-- Incivek makes people throw up!!!! I'm already taking anti-pukers every day and i haven't even started the incivek yet!!! waaahhh!
shalice

ps-- IM, you think YOU'RE a WUSS?!?! No no no no no no no, my friend. You not a wuss. You smart.

Shalice do you usually stay on the anti-emetics for the duration of treatment?

IM,

Oh, I do know what you mean.  I am so sorry to hear about the vomiting, etc from all of you on this treatment.

But guys,  again, as a threepeater, it is worth every gram of fat and every incident of vomit you have.  Trust me.

I did get nauseated one morning, but that's been it.  Can not necessarily blame that on meds as I occassionally get nauseated treatment or not.

The rash BTW will it still comes and goes is not the least bit irritating nor even visible unless you look closely.  A single Benedryl tablet twice a day seems to deal with it.

And I am really pleased to announce the BBS as of today, knock on wood, is much improved.  Not totally gone mind you but does seem better.  One can hope the end is near.

So far this is a piece of cake. (Always is 1st 4 weeks for me.)

OK. I'll settle down. I'm just a world-class puker and no matter how many thousands of times it's happened, i still dread it. IM, yes, I took anti-nausea medication in one form or another (pills, shots, suppositories and inhalants) for the duration of tx and for awhile after. "Pukey at baseline" that's what doc put in my chart. You'd think I wouldn't be such a baby about it by now but, damn, I hate throwing up.

Doesn't matter. I'm doing this tx, that's one of the side effects I have and that's just the way it is. Maybe after it's done, I won't be so nauseous and I'll look forward to eating again and feeling better.
