Diagnosed With Hepatitis C?
Since 2005 HCV Support has helped provide thousands of people diagnosed with hepatitis C
in receiving the
knowledge, support and encouragement they've needed in managing and treating their HCV. At HCV Support we supply the
educational resources and peer support needed in making informed
healthcare decisions regarding your HCV, and in ultimately helping you
remain adherent in the care of your HCV as prescribe by your healthcare
provider.
Our online support forum is moderated
and staffed by an outstanding group of fellow HCV patients who have
dedicated themselves to assisting those newly diagnosed with hepatitis
C, and answering the many questions they commonly have. Our forum also
operates a board exclusively run and moderated by a nurse practitioner
in the field of gastroenterology/hepatology to answer the more medical
or clinical questions related to hepatitis C and treatment. Our forum is
open to visitors to view its several publicly viewable boards, but
requires member registration in order to post and/or reply within the
forum or to access and view our member only boards.
Registration is free and completely anonymous.
Please take the time to visit and read through
our site's wealth of Hepatitis C resources, and view and read through the many
postings made by our members in our online support forum. When you feel
comfortable, we invite you to join our online support family by
registering as a member.
Remember, you are not alone, and we are
here to help.
Sincerely,
Wayne A. Morea

Did you Know ......
- 1 in 12 people are
infected with the hepatitis C virus.
- Each year an estimated 3
million new cases of hepatitis C are diagnosed worldwide.
- Approximately 80% of those
exposed to the hepatitis C virus become chronically
infected.
- Most people with chronic hepatitis C are unaware that they are infected because HCV is often asymptomatic until advanced liver damage develops.
